6.6.0.571939 - Performance Improvements Wednesday, May 25, 2022 Release Notes We are happy to announce a viewer full of performance enhancing fixes, tweaks, and features. We focused on reducing image decoding time, decreasing frame stalls and initial font rendering time. As a result the viewer should feel more responsive. While we can’t give specific timing improvements you will see due to the dynamic nature of content, we’ve seen positive feedback for a broad range of use cases.

We’ve made changes to vsync handling and added the ability to switch it OFF/ON in Preferences > Graphics > Advanced Settings.
